Child Abuse Treatment Services (CATS)
Child abuse takes a toll on children and families. This program responds with immediate, flexible, and appropriate clinical services.
The people we serve:
Children and adolescents (ages 3-17) who are victims of physical or sexual abuse.
The families of such children.
Community referrals are accepted.
How the program works:
Services include individual, group, and/or family therapy, personal advocacy, justice support, crisis counseling, and follow-up as needed.
Services are individualized and tailored to the needs of the family.
All services are free of charge to victims and their families. The CATS program is funded through a grant from the Office of Victims Services.
The program is staffed by experienced mental health professionals with specialized clinical training.
