Adoption and Foster Care
All children need good homes. This program finds them for children between the ages of 6 to 15.
The people we serve:
Children removed from their birth families for safety reasons.
Teenagers of all races living in residential facilities or short-term foster homes.
Siblings who want to grow up together.
Children who need and want a home of their very own.
Caring adults-and their children-who would like to become foster or adoptive families.
How the program works:
The foster or adoptive family submits an application.
Klingberg conducts a home study.
The family learns more about children who needs homes through volunteering and formal training.
The family provides medical, financial, and other information.
Klingberg matches the family's unique needs with one or more children.
The child or children and prospective family get to know each other.
Klingberg places the child with the family and provides ongoing support.
